Machined Round Stakes

Stakes are manufactured from British grown softwood which is then stripped of all bark, graded and checked, before being machine turned, to produce a perfectly cylindrical, straight and smooth post. The finished timber is then pressure treated.

As a round or half-round fence post the benefits over conventional posts are considerable. Perfectly cylindrical straight and uniform in diameter and length. Stakes are easy to drive and what's more, drive straight. As a further aid to driving, stakes are pencil pointed in the round and 4-way pointed half round, with a chamfered top to reduce splitting and cost effective too, being of constant size and quality none need ever be discarded.
